Two Seam Threads: A Baseball Guy’s (or Gal’s) New Go To For Awesome Apparel

Off the Bench Baseball must, of course, be very cautious and judicious when endorsing a person, product, or idea. Longtime readers of our site will undoubtedly know that we do not make endorsements often and we know that our seal of approval carries a lot of weight- it must be treated with respect and used only sparingly. Every once in a while, however, it becomes appropriate to deign, in this case, a certain brand with that illustrious award.

Two Seam Threads, a baseball-themed apparel company started by a former pro player, definitely earns whatever accolades we can bestow.  They offer long and short sleeve shirts- including for kids and ladies- hats, and even some decor items. The OTBB team can personally attest to the quality and comfort of the shirts. These aren’t screen printed, run of the mill mall shirts. The emblems on them are dyed into the super-soft cotton and the colors are vibrant. In short, we like these shirts.

We also like Dan, the founder of the company. Recently, Sean hopped on Fortnite to interview Dan about the company, the products, how everything got started and where things will go from here, as well as play some video games. He’s a former collegiate baseball player, and even played some independent ball. Somewhere in our third round of Fortnite, he described himself as a “that guy” left-handed pitcher. He was the type that threw full count sliders to keep hitters off balance. While tricky on the mound, there’s nothing tricky or annoying about Two Seam Threads’ product. Check out the video to hear the interview and watch Sean, Dan, our friend Mike (who introduced us to the brand) and another friend named Dan lose almost instantly and then play again. Think of it as baseball podcast meets Twitch stream.
